Humania Insurance announces the publication of its first climate report, covering the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025. This report is part of the rollout of the Quebec mutual insurer’s ESG strategy and addresses the expectations of the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) regarding the disclosure of climate related risks and opportunities.
This first report presents, among other things:
- The roles and responsibilities of the board of directors and management with respect to climate governance
- A qualitative assessment of the main climate related risks and opportunities affecting Humania’s operations
- The organization’s ESG plan, structured around three pillars: sustainable environment and operations, internal social engagement, and governance
- A first inventory of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, covering scope 1 and scope 2, established in accordance with the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard
