Quebec City, October 26, 2026 – Socodevi is proud to announce a new contribution from Humania Assurance, a longtime partner, most of which will support the CACAO+ project in Peru.

Deployed in Peru, CACAO+ works with cocoa cooperatives to strengthen their economic performance while promoting sustainable and resilient farming practices. The project helps increase producers’ incomes, expand the participation of women and youth in the cocoa sector, and support communities as they adapt to climate change.

Humania Assurance has supported Socodevi’s mission since 2010. Over the years, this collaboration has grown around shared values of solidarity, cooperation and commitment to sustainable and inclusive development. Among other things, the insurer puts its employees’ know-how at the service of communities. Through expert assignments, employees share their knowledge and experience with communities in Peru and, in previous years, in Benin, Senegal and Colombia. These collaborations aim to strengthen cooperative entrepreneurship, build resilience to climate change and advance equality between women and men.
