The Innovation Competition continues: it’s time for the jury!

Humania Assurance and its travel subsidiary Tour+Med are proud to partner with Fintech Cadence to support innovation and help transform the insurance industry.

After the selection of the semi-finalists a few weeks ago, the Innovation Competition is entering a new and decisive stage. The 14 competing teams are preparing to present their solutions before a jury of five experts from the insurance, fintech, and entrepreneurship sectors, including representatives from Humania Assurance and Tour+Med.

This jury will be responsible for selecting the finalists who will advance to the grand finale in November. These promising projects aim to enhance the travel experience of snowbirds and could pave the way for innovative, concrete solutions for the industry.

Jury members 

Nicolas Moskiou

President and Chief Executive Officer, Humania Assurance

A recognized leader with over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, he combines operational expertise, strategic vision, and a passion for innovation. Known for turning ambitious strategies into concrete solutions, he strengthens client experience, fosters collaboration, and builds lasting partnerships. His engaging leadership and focus on continuous improvement actively contribute to Humania’s growth and reputation.

Joanne Vézina

Chair of the Board of Directors, Humania Assurance and Snowbird

An experienced corporate director, Joanne Vézina is recognized for her expertise in governance, risk management, and human resources. She has held several senior leadership positions in financial services, contributing to strategic growth and the enhancement of client and partner experience.

Martin Houde Bergeron

Vice President, Tour+Med

With over 15 years of experience in travel insurance, he has played a key role in strategically positioning Tour+Med. Recognized for his inspiring leadership, integrity, and commitment, he fosters a positive work environment and the development of lasting business relationships, while emphasizing innovation and accessibility in insurance.

Pascale Audette

Member of the Board of Directors, Humania Assurance and President and CEO of the YMCAs of Quebec

With over 25 years of experience, Pascale Audette has led high-growth technology companies and contributed to their international expansion. Former CEO of Carebook Technologies, she now serves on several boards of directors and actively supports emerging businesses.

Mélanie Muise

President of Personal & Travel Insurance, Navacord

A senior executive with more than 18 years of experience in the insurance industry. As President, Personal & Travel Insurance at Navacord, she is recognized for her strategic leadership, results-driven approach, and key role in digital transformation and organizational growth.
