Humania Highlights a Remarkable Year at its 2025 Annual General Meeting
Saint-Hyacinthe, April 2025 – At its Annual General Meeting, Humania Assurance presented the highlights of an exceptional year in 2024, which was marked by the company’s 150th anniversary.
In her address, Board Chair Johanne Vézina reaffirmed the strength of Humania’s mutualist model and the importance of solid, forward-thinking governance:
“With 150 years of history behind us, Humania is ready to face tomorrow’s challenges and continue to stand out as a key player in the insurance industry.”
President and CEO Nicolas Moskiou also emphasized the dedication of Humania’s teams and the company’s momentum toward innovation:
“These meaningful moments allowed us to celebrate our 150-year journey together while looking toward a promising future.”
Key highlights presented included:
- Strong financial results, with solvency ratios well above targets.
- The development of the 2025–2027 strategic plan, focused on innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence.
- Significant improvements in customer experience, including the modernization of Mon Humania and the redesign of the humania.ca website.
- External recognition, including a Mercuriades award and continued inclusion among Canada’s Top 100 Small and Medium Employers for the 7th consecutive year.
